For our teachers, working with chidren isn't just a job, it's a profession that they take very seriously.

The role of Kidz Junction staff is to be a positive role model, encourage and enrich experimental learning and facilitate your child's individual learning style. The goal of guidance and discipline within the program is to assist the children in developing safe and appropriate ways of interacting with others and the environment. Our aim is to help each child acquire a positive self concept and self control as they establish, apply, and practice acceptible behaviors in a variety of situations.

Our teachers meet the State of Minnesota Rule 3 guidelines for child care programs. In addition to their educational background, our teachers are required to complete at least an additional 40 hours of developmental training in early childhood techniques and educations.

All teachers employed at Kidz Junction must have the following:

  • First Aid Certification
  • CPR Certification
  • SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Sydrome) Training
  • Shaken Baby Syndrome Training
  • Car Seat Safety Training
  • Risk Reduction Training
  • Early Childhood Indicators of Progress Training
  • Mandated Reporting Training
